11/11/17 @ 1:30 p.m. - Hundreds of Nassau County residents paid tribute to our military at today's annual Veteran's Day Parade in downtown Fernandina Beach.
The parade began just after 11:00 a.m. and featured a variety of groups including senior military officials, active duty and retired military units, veterans groups, marching bands, dance groups, the beloved Shriners and more! Parade watchers wearing red, white and blue showed their support by waving flags, banners and signs. A great time was had by all.
A big thank thank you to American Legion Post 54 for organizing this event for our local veterans and for the community.
