Welcome to beautiful Nassau County, located in the northeast corner of Florida along the Atlantic Ocean and Interstate 95. We are proud to serve as the Eastern Gateway to the Sunshine State. From our historic island, sandy beaches, and championship golf courses to our scenic rivers, green pastures, and majestic timberlands, we truly offer something for everyone.
1/31/20 @ 4:15 p.m. - On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, representatives from the Nassau County government and Economic Development Board met with representatives of Kings Bay to discuss the economic impact the organization has on surrounding counties. Valerie Feinberg, Assistant Director of Planning & Economic Opportunity, gave a presentation on Nassau County's Growth Trends Report. It is estimated that 25% of Kings Bay's work force resides in Nassau County. The group discussed community engagement and training of the next workforce. The group met several service personnel and were fortunate enough to tour an active submarine, the USS Tennessee.
