There are currently several Success by Six Scholarships available for Nassau County residents to take advantage of. These two-year scholarships are for working families who make too much money for assistance from the State but are still struggling with the high costs of daycare. The scholarship will provide free, day-long care for three year olds from August 2014 through July 2016. (The child must be three on or before September 1, 2014)
There are currently four Success By Six centers in Nassau County: Island Academy (Fernandina Beach), Lamb Daycare (Fernandina Beach), Step by Step II (Yulee), and Building Blocks (Callahan).
The Success By Six Program is funded by United Way through their partnership with The Early Learning Coalition of North Florida and Episcopal Children's Services.
