9/6/17 @ 10:55 a.m. - Public Works has ordered 10,000 sand bags for residents to use. Those will be available beginning at noon on Thursday, September 7th.
The following locations will have employees on site to help you fill bags beginning at noon on Thursday. After Thursday, they will be available from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. until further notice.
There will also be bags and sand available at the Hilliard Yard located on Pea Farm Road in Hilliard from 7:00 a.m.. - 10:00 p.m. Please note there will not be anyone available to help fill bags at this location, however citizens are welcome to fill bags themselves. We do ask that citizens limit themselves to 10-15 bags per household.

UPDATED AT 2:10 P.M. - RESIDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE ID FOR PROOF OF RESIDENCY TO OBTAIN SANDBAGS. THIS IS BEING DONE IN AN EFFORT TO ENSURE ONLY NASSAU COUNTY RESIDENTS ARE COLLECTING SANDBAGS AS WE WANT TO ENSURE THERE ARE ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE RESIDING IN NASSAU COUNTY.
