Pictured left to right: Commissioner George Spicer, Commissioner Danny Leeper, and Mike Bell, Vice President of Public Affairs for Rayonier 11/6/17 @ 3:20 p.m. - On Thursday, November 2, 2017, Rayonier hosted their annual Community Grant Breakfast. Numerous individuals and businesses were in attendance to receive Rayonier Community Grant Funding, including the Board of County Commissioners who received a very generous check for the Derrick Henry Monument Sign Project.
In January 2016, the Board approved a resolution in support of a request to the Florida Department of Transportation to create and place customized signs in Yulee along State Road 200 and US 17 in honor of 2015 Heisman Trophy Winner, Derrick Henry. The estimated cost for permitting and construction of both signs was $27,490. With Rayonier's donation, the County now has $10,685 raised for this project.

The Board appreciates everyone who has assisted so far and looks forward to bringing this project to fruition so Mr. Henry can get the credit he deserves!
