11/8/18 @ 2:35 p.m. - The Board of County Commissioners has been notified that if the Secretary of State orders a machine recount in the U.S. Senate,the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, and/or any other race before 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018, the Canvassing Board will meet to conduct that recount. If the recount is ordered after 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 11th, the recount shall immediately commence thereafter.
The recount, if ordered, will take place at the Supervisor of Elections Office located at 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL. The recount will be open to the public. Persons with disabilities requiring reasonable accommodations to participate should call the Supervisor of Elections at (904) 491-7500 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
