The County has received notification from Florida Power & Light that they will be conducting preventative maintenance line-clearing over the next few weeks in the area outlined in the picture to the left. This work consists of trimming tree branches and limbs from electrical lines and equipment to help improve the overall quality of electric services. FPL will only prune or trim the branches and limbs that can potentially cause safety hazards or power outages by brushing up against or falling upon power lines during windy weather.
