Notice of Railroad Closures

Nassau County, Florida May 4, 2022 – On behalf of CSX, the Nassau County Road Department is issuing a Notice of Intent to Begin Construction on the following railroad crossings due to urgent repairs needed. The closure times and proposed dates are listed below:

Pratt Siding Road in Callahan, FL – Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 5th and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10th. Proposed Detour: US1 Henry Smith Road to Pratt Siding Road or Henry Smith to Old Dixie Highway.
 
River Road in Callahan (Brandies Avenue), FL – Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7th through 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11th. Proposed Detour: Old Dixie Hwy to Bypass Road to River Road
