New Hours of Operation for Nassau County Convenience Center

5/22/18 @ 4:50 p.m. - Effective June 18, 2018, the Nassau County Convenience Recycle Center located at 46026 Landfill Road in Callahan will close for business from 1:30 to 2:00 pm.

Hours of operation are:

Monday and Tuesday 8:00 am to 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Wednesday – Closed
Thursday and Friday 8:00 am to 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Saturday 8:30 until Noon
Sunday – Closed

Update the hours on your website. Says closed Wednesdays and Sundays. Not true! Wasted 45 minutes.

Mr. Willis, I am unsure which website you viewed however Nassau County's official website is www.nassaucountyfl.com and it is in fact up to date. (below is a link to the solid waste page that displays their hours).

For future inquiries, we urge you to go directly to our website for information related to the County and to not rely on information Google or other search engines display because they are not always accurate and we have no way to correct their pages as they are not ours.

Also, there are very large signs posted at the gate with the operating hours. I apologize that your time was wasted however we have made the correct information available to the public in several manners (website, this Press Release you located on our blog, public notices in both newspapers, signage at the facility, etc.). You're always welcome to call too to double-check their hours before visiting should you be unsure. Their number is (904) 530-6700.
