As of 11am, May 27, 2020, FDOH Nassau has received two new cases with positive COVID-19 testing conducted in Nassau. The first case is a 24 year-old female (non-FL) resident with travel-related exposure and with no known contact to a confirmed case. The second case is a 31 year-old male (non-FL resident) with unknown contact to a confirmed case and with travel-related exposure. The Health Department is conducting case investigation and contact tracing on these cases. The individuals will remain in isolation until released by public health. This brings the total case count to date to seventy-two (65 Nassau residents and 7 non-FL residents) for Nassau County.
