As of 11am, May 28th, FDOH Nassau has logged two new cases with positive COVID-19 tests conducted in the county.
The first is a 20-year-old male resident with unknown travel-related exposure or contact to a confirmed case.
The second case is a 39-year-old male without known contact to a confirmed case or travel-related exposure.
FDOH epidemiologists conduct case investigations and contact-tracing on ALL positive cases. The positive individuals will remain in isolation until released by Public Health. This brings the total case count to date to 74 (67 Nassau residents) with 54 released from isolation.
