Egan's Creek: Submitted by Mark H. Delfs
11/20/17 @ 5:30 p.m. - In August 2017, we announced that the Florida Association of Counties was holding their annual Calendar Contest and urged Nassau County residents to submit photos in hopes of having Nassau County featured in the 2018 calendar. This year's theme is "Florida Bodies of Water" which will highlight beaches, bays, rivers and springs around the State.
Over 600 photos were submitted, 25 of which were from Nassau County. We are excited to announce that not only is Nassau County going to be featured in the calendar, we are going to be on the cover! A big thank you and congratulations to Mark H. Delfs on selection of his photo of Egan's creek. (pictured above) We would also like to express our gratitude to all the talented photographers in Nassau County who took the time to submit their photos for the contest.
