3/15/22 @ 1:30 p.m. - Government Finance Professionals Week is celebrated annually across the country in March to recognize government finance professionals who work hard every day to ensure that financial policies are followed and that processes in place are efficient.
At the Monday, March 14, 2022 meeting, the Board approved Resolution No. 2022-18 declaring the week of March 14-March 18, 2022, as Government Finance Professional's Week in Nassau County. Representatives from the Office of Management & Budget, as well as the finance staff from the Clerk of Courts Office were in attendance at the meeting.
John A. Crawford, Clerk of Courts, stated, "Everything we do everyday between your staff (Office of Management & Budget) and mine (Clerk Finance), is for the protection of the citizens and tax payers of Nassau County. Thank you very much for recognizing us jointly because in the end, we are one team".
