4/20/23 @ 2:15 p.m. - On Wednesday, April 20, 2023, Nassau County Animal Services took several adoptable pets to the Nassau County Sheriff's Office for a meet and greet. The Sheriff's employees were all smiles as they took a few minutes to snuggle these cuties. Meet and greets are not only fun, they give the animals an opportunity to get out of the kennels and socialize.
We appreciate the Sheriff employees for taking time out of their busy schedules to show these pets some love. One kitten, Dizzy, found himself a new foster home with Deputy Director of Emergency Management, Martha Oberdorfer. A love match was also made with Officer Chuck Reagor and Cube. We are hopeful that Officer Chuck will decide he can't live without Cube and that they will be reunited soon.
