Please don't forget to join us this Saturday, April 4th at the Yulee Sports Complex for the 2nd Annual Government Day. The gates will open at 3:00 p.m. with various events scheduled throughout the afternoon. The Farm Bureau will serve FREE hotdogs, and there will be FREE drinks donated by Coca Cola. The event will also feature a kids zone complete with a FREE Bounce House, Mega-slide, and other children's activities. Various organizations will be selling your favorite snacks such as popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy, so you may wish to bring a little money with you.
At 3:30 p.m., head over to the football field for a FREE Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Nassau County School Board. There will be two age groups, ages 2-5 and ages 6-8. Don't forget to bring an Easter Basket or bag for your child to collect eggs with.
At 4:00 p.m., head over to the softball field and watch the highly anticipated game between the Nassau County Sheriff's Office and last year's winning team, the Property Appraiser's Office.
All proceeds will benefit four amazing charities: The Katie Ride and Walk, the United Way of Northeast Florida, The James S. Page Scholarship Fund, and The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We hope to see you all there!
