2/7/20 @ 10:15 a.m. - On December 31st, we announced that a temporary four-way stop was being installed at the intersection of South 14th Street and Simmons Road due to a safety study revealing that this location needed additional safety controls. (see original story here)
Yesterday, the stop bars and signs were installed notifying the public that the 4-way stop will become active on Monday, February 10th. The 4-way stop is a temporary solution while the consultant, CPH, Inc., prepares their final recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners regarding future improvements including a roundabout or red light.
