8/3/17 @ 4:30 p.m. - On Thursday, July 27th, a Florida County Commissioner's Conference was held at the White House to provide counties with an opportunity to meet with members of the Trump Administration to discuss various issues such as infrastructure needs, rural development, affordable housing, the opioid epidemic and veterans affairs.
Approximately 100 County Commissioners from the State of Florida were in attendance, including District Five County Commissioner, Justin Taylor. He stated, "We were able to engage with government officials to better craft results for our needs. I am hopeful that we will see some positive results from these meetings and that more federal resources will become available".
Thank you Commissioner Taylor for representing Nassau County and voicing concerns for issues that affect our citizens and quality of life.
