President Joe Biden has issued a Proclamation ordering all flags in the United States to be flown at half-staff through sunset on Sunday, March 27, 2022, in honor of Madeleine Korbel Albright. According to Proclamation, Ms. Albright made history as the first woman Secretary of State, appointed by President Clinton. She was a "scholar, teacher, best selling author, and accomplished business woman". She passed away on March 23, 2022 at the age of 84.
