Unfortunately, prescription drugs often find their way into the wrong hands, ending with tragic results. Returning unwanted/unused medications helps to prevent prescription drug abuse.
A DEA has scheduled their spring Drug Take-Back Day for Saturday, April 30th from 10am-2pm. This event allows residents to safely dispose of controlled and uncontrolled substances, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, creams, vials and pet medications.
There will be drop off locations at the Hilliard Pharmacy, Callahan Winn Dixie, and the Yulee County Building located at 86026 Pages Dairy Rd.
