9/6/22 @ 10:30 a.m. - Approximately 250 people attended our first Drive In Movie event on Sunday, September 4th. While our original plan was to have the screen elevated on a trailer and pushed back away from the parking lot for maximum viewing, the wind made that impossible. So, we had to improvise and move the screen across the parking lot which unfortunately, made viewing a bit harder.
We appreciate everyone who stuck it out with us! We were pleased with the turn out and were especially pleased to see some of our teen residents in attendance as we know it's important that they have fun and safe activities to participate in. If you had a teen in attendance, please know that they were all respectful and well behaved.
We also appreciate Tobacco Free Nassau for their partnership and providing yummy snacks to our attendees.
