From the Sheriff’s Office:
NCSO Deputy Mark Hunter was honored by State Attorney Melissa Nelson at the 2nd Annual State Attorney Awards Ceremony in Jacksonville. Deputy Hunter was recognized for his bravery in entering a burning home multiple times searching for the unconscious occupant. Deputy Hunter located her on the kitchen floor and pulled her outside.
