Did you know that numerous departments under the Board of County Commissioners provide monthly status reports reflecting major projects staff is working on to make our County great? Below is information on the type of information you can find in each report, as well as a link to review the department's monthly report for December 2013:
Nassau County Manager's Office
- The Building Department's report outlines the number of inspections performed, the number of permits issued, and generated revenue. Building Department December 2013
- Code Enforcement's report provides data on the number of complaints received by the department and their outcome. Code Enforcement December 2013
- County Extension's report illustrates the number of community programs conducted by the department including 4-H, Landscaping and Plant Clinics, and Community Outreach Events. County Extension December 2013
- Facilities Maintenance is a department with many ongoing projects. Their monthly report includes information about maintenance of County facilities and upgrades and repairs to County parks, boat ramps, and ballparks. Facilities Maintenance December 2013
- Public Works is made up of four departments: Engineering Services, Road & Bridge, Nassau Amelia Utilities and Solid Waste. This monthly report includes a myriad of information for each of the four departments including major road projects, intersection improvements, culvert replacements, drainage projects, installation of new water meters and pipes for new development, and maintenance of the County landfill for DEP compliance.
