1/22/21 @ 4:30 p.m. - This week, Nassau County received 975 vaccines from the State of Florida-Department of Health. A random drawing of 975 names were pulled from the vaccination waiting list on Tuesday, January 19th. All 975 individuals were notified that their name was pulled and that they were eligible to schedule their appointments.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Nassau County Emergency Management for overseeing the scheduling of appointments and coordinating the vaccination event today at the Yulee Ballpark. Because of them, 500 individuals received their vaccinations today! The remaining individuals not vaccinated today are scheduled for appointments at the Department of Health over the next few days.
The County will hold another randomized drawing as soon as additional vaccines are received from the State.
