As of 11:00 am, May 2, 2020, FDOH Nassau has received one new case with positive COVID-19 testing in Nassau residents. The case is a 53 year-old male with known contact to a confirmed case and with no known travel-related exposure. The Health Department is conducting case investigation and contact tracing on this case. The individual will remain in isolation until released by public health. This brings the total case count to date to fifty-58(56 residents & 2 non-residents) for Nassau County. As of this date, 40 individuals have been released from isolation.
