On Tuesday, November 22, 2016, a Swearing in Ceremony was held for Pat Edwards, Danny Leeper, and Justin Taylor. Each were elected to represent Nassau County as County Commissioners during the November 2016 election. Their oath of office was led by the Honorable Judge Robert M. Foster.
Danny Leeper was re-elected and will be serving his third four-year term representing the Fernandina Beach area. Pat Edwards was also re-elected and will be serving his second four-year term representing Yulee including the Chester, Blackrock and Miner Road area. Justin Taylor was elected to serve his first four-year term and will represent Callahan and the Yulee area west of I-95.
