3/22/18 @ 1:15 p.m. - Nassau-Amelia Utilities has experienced a loss of pressure due to a power outage. The power outage occurred during a weekly testing of our generator.
This notice is to inform you that a Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all Nassau-Amelia Utilities customers until further notice. High Rises at Amelia Island Plantation will not be affected. The boil water advisory will remain in effect until bacteriological samples are collected and analyzed to reflect a negative result for coliforms. We are estimating that the results will be back after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24th. After completion of this process, a notice will be issued to rescind the boil water advisory.
Please continue to boil your water until you are notified to disregard the advisory.
