Nassau County Parks and Recreation would like to invite you to travel back in time for an 80’s Night Double Feature Movie Event on Friday, March 10th at Peters Point Beachfront Park (located at 4600 Peters Point Road).
The event will open at 6:00 p.m. There will be an 80’s Movie Costume Contest at 6:30 p.m. with prizes for 1st – 3rd place. Sign ups are not necessary for the costume contest.
Then, there will be a showing of “The Goonies” beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by a showing of “Dirty Dancing” beginning at 9:00 p.m.
Either relax in your vehicle and listen through a select FM station or bring a chair/blanket and enjoy not one, but two 80’s classics.
There is no fee to attend the movie event, however there will be food available to purchase at the event.
