On this solemn day, we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and honor the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost. We pay tribute to the courage of the first responders, service members, and countless everyday heroes who answered the call with selflessness and bravery.
As a community, we stand together in reflection, gratitude, and resilience, mindful of the freedoms we cherish and the unity that carried our nation forward in the days that followed.
Today, we encourage residents to join us in remembrance, whether through a moment of silence, flying the American flag at half-staff, or simply taking time to reflect on the strength and spirit that defines us as Americans.
