Nassau County Fire Chief Brady Rigdon; Chair Alyson McCullough; Lt. Raymond Crews; and Battalion Chief James Casteel At the Wednesday, May 19, 2026 meeting, the Board of County Commissioners honored Lt. Raymond Crews with a proclamation recognizing nearly three decades of dedicated service to Nassau County Fire Rescue and the community. Raymond Crews began his career with Nassau County on May 6, 1997, as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He was promoted to Engineer in 1998 and later advanced to Lieutenant in 2000, where he faithfully served residents until his retirement effective July 1, 2026.
Throughout his career, Raymond Crews demonstrated outstanding dedication, professionalism, and commitment to protecting the citizens of Nassau County. The Board commended him for his years of service and extended sincere appreciation and congratulations as he begins his retirement.
