5/2/25 @ 8:45 a.m. - A Presidential Proclamation has been issued proclaiming May 3- May 4, 2025 as National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. This weekend, thousands with gather in Emmitsburg, Maryland to honor the lives and legacies of firefighters who died in the line of duty last year. The Memorial and a special candlelight service can be viewed live on the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation website.
In accordance with the Proclamation, all flags shall be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset in observance of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
