CR 121 Traffic Update

5/8/26 @ 3:30 p.m. 

Work performed the week of May 4, 2026: 

Temporary Signals:

• Continue to operate from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 221+25 to Sta. 238+75) 

Barrier Wall:

• Remains in place from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 221+25 to Sta. 238+75)

Milling:

• Milled existing asphalt within road closure limits from Stokes Rd to CR 119

Subgrade:

• Subgrade was graded and balanced from sta. 221+25 to 238+75 Lt. Rdwy.

Paving:

• Horseshoe Cir. Was paved with (2) lifts of asphalt base

CR 121 Road Closure

• CR 121 was closed from Stokes Rd to CR 119 for construction of roadway and Concrete box culvert.

 
Upcoming work & activities for the week of May 11, 2026:

• Continue 3” milling operations with road closure limits.
• Begin removing existing box culvert at sta. 406+59
• Relocating barrier wall and signals
• Maintenance of Traffic.

Monday 05/11/26:
Continue working from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 222+00 to Sta. 238+69)

• Work operations will be behind barrier wall
• Activities: Prepping subgrade for asphalt base and structural asphalt
• Maintain road closure and continue 3” milling operations from Stokes Road to CR-119
• Begin Demo of existing box culvert at sta. 406+59 (approximately 1.34 miles North of Stokes Rd & .46 miles South of CR-119). 

NOTE:  Access to properties will be maintained, but no traffic can cross the box culvert location during this phase.

Tuesday 05/12/26:
Continue working from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 222+00 to Sta. 238+69)

• Work operations will be behind barrier wall
• Activities: Paving both lifts of Asphalt base in L-1 lane from Sta. 222+00 to 238+69 Left Roadway
• Maintain road closure and continue 3” milling operations from Stokes Road to CR-119
• Continue Demo of existing box culvert at sta. 406+59 (approximately 1.34 miles North of Stokes Rd & .46 miles South of CR-119) 

NOTE:  Access to properties will be maintained, but no traffic can cross the box culvert location during this phase.

Wednesday 05/13/26:

• Continue working from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 222+00 to Sta. 238+69)
• Work operations will be behind barrier wall
• Activities: Paving structural asphalt from Sta. 222+00 to 238+69 Left Roadway
• Maintain road closure and continue 3” milling operations from Stokes Road to CR-119
• Continue Demo of existing box culvert at sta. 406+59 (approximately 1.34 miles North of Stokes Rd & .46 miles South of CR-119) 

NOTE:  Access to properties will be maintained, but no traffic can cross the box culvert location during this phase

Thursday 05/14/26:
 Continue working from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 222+00 to Sta. 238+69)

• Work operations will be behind barrier wall
• Activities: Place final striping behind barrier wall from Sta. 222+00 to 238+69 Left Roadway
• Maintain road closure and begin 3” milling operations from Stokes Road to CR-119
• Continue Demo of existing box culvert at sta. 406+59 (approximately 1.34 miles North of Stokes Rd & .46 miles South of CR-119) 

NOTE:  Access to properties will be maintained, but no traffic can cross the box culvert location during this phase.

Friday 05/15/26:
Continue working from Horseshoe Circle to .04 miles North of Batey LN (Sta. 222+00 to Sta. 238+69)

• Work operations will be behind barrier wall
• Activities: Begin relocating barrier wall to Sta. 90+40 to 106+71.
• Maintain road closure and continue 3” milling operations from Stokes Road to CR-119
• Continue Demo of existing box culvert at sta. 406+59 (approximately 1.34 miles North of Stokes Rd & .46 miles South of CR-119) .

NOTE:  Access to properties will be maintained, but no traffic can cross the box culvert location during this phase.

Saturday 05/16/26:

• No work scheduled.

Sunday 05/17/26:

• No work scheduled.
