FDOT Presentation Regarding State Road 200 Project

10/15/18 @ 2:45 p.m. - At the Board of County Commissioner's meeting taking place this Wednesday, October 17, 2018, Ms. Odette Struys, Public Information Officer for FDOT, will make a presentation regarding the State Road 200 Construction Project.

Topics to be discussed include:

Diamond Interchange at I-95
Lofton Creek Bridge Replacement
Traffic Signal Timing
Lane Closures and Lane Shifts
Detours
Resurfacing from the Shave Bridge to Centre Street
Anticipated construction and completion timelines for each phase of the project
Communication and keeping the public informed

The meeting will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17th in the Commission Chambers located at 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can view it live during the meeting, or at a later time through our website.

This update from FDOT will provide a great opportunity for residents to obtain factual information about work that has already taken place, timelines for completion, and what can be expected in the days and months to come. While this project has generated a lot of frustration, try to remember that the end result will be greatly beneficial for everyone.

Traffic Shift on SR200 Beginning Friday, September 21st

9/20/18 @ 8:50 a.m. - The Florida Department of Transportation has announced that beginning at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018, eastbound traffic on A1A/SR200 will experience a traffic pattern shift to the right at the west end of the project limits, between US17 and Chester Road. Westbound traffic will not be affected at this time.

Drivers should remain cautious while becoming accustomed to the new traffic pattern.
