Celebrate the start of summer at Nassau County’s annual Opening of the Beaches on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Main Beach Park in Fernandina Beach. This free, family-friendly event features live music, kids’ activities, food vendors, and the Wild Amelia Nature Festival with interactive exhibits and wildlife experiences.
