The Prisoner of Cell 25 is the first book in a new series about a boy with an interesting ability -- he can create and use electricity from his own body.  He and his friends run into trouble with a mysterious company that wants them to join up, or else!  In order to get Michael to cooperate with them, the company kidnaps Michael’s mother.  Michael goes to the company’s headquarters, where he is put in Cell 25 to be broken into submission.

I had a hard time putting this book down.  It’s fast paced with loveable characters and hateful villains.  The superpowers they have are interesting and even those who do not have superpowers are special.  This is a good book for those who want an action adventure with suspense and some violence.
